Non-industrial Forest Landowner Forest Management Plan Application

The Humboldt County Resource Conservation District (HCRCD) is inviting non-industrial forest landowners to apply to receive technical assistance in creating a long-term document to guide land management decisions, called Forest Management Plans. A Registered Professional Forester (RPF) of the landowner’s choice will write a FMP for private landowners at no cost to the landowner. The application packet linked serves as a guidance document that establishes the process, procedures, and general requirements for non-industrial landowners to apply for and receive Forest Management Plan development.

The application deadline for the first round of application review is October 19, 2023; however, applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed quarterly until March 29, 2024. Applications can be filled out, and emailed to Katrina Henderson at katrina@hcrcd.org, or downloaded and sent via hardcopy to 5630 South Broadway, Eureka, CA 95503. If you need assistance filling out the application, contact Katrina Henderson at katrina@hcrcd.org.
