Dabid is a project coordinator in the Agricultural Enhancement Program. He is finishing up his M.S. in Natural Resources – Rangeland Sciences at Cal Poly Humboldt where he also earned his B.S. in Rangeland Resource Science with a minor in Botany. His research focuses on plant and soil interactions on rangelands in the state of California. Prior to this role, he served as an ethnobotanist and archaeologist for the Cultural Resource Facility where he got to explore the vast Shasta-Trinty National Forest to document historic and pre-colonial cultural sites. Dabid is thrilled to start working with local ranchers and producers to help them reach their conservation and economic goals, while integrating sustainable farm practices that support local ecosystems, along with the native flora and fauna. In his free time, Dabid enjoys gardening, long hikes, botanizing, backpacking, and Aztec dancing.
