Request for Proposals: Humboldt Redwoods State Park Salmon-Canoe Unit Forest Health-Mechanical and Manual Services Project
The Humboldt County Resource Conservation District is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to carry out the Humboldt Redwoods State Park Salmon-Canoe Unit Forest Health-Mechanical and Manual Services Project. Proposals for the Project will be received electronically by the RCD until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. This project is to be conducted on public lands located near Weott, CA. There is a mandatory pre-proposal meeting on site Friday, May 8, 2026 at 9am. The pre-proposal meeting will commence at the Southbound Hwy 101 offramp to Salmon Creek, CA (40.250714, -123.832797), from where all parties will caravan to the project site; all interested parties are requested to R.S.V.P. to Program Manager, Katrina Cole by email at katrina@hcrcd.org.

QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS’ LIST
The Humboldt County Resource Conservation District invites all interested licensed contractors to submit their company for inclusion on the District’s Qualified Contractors’ List for the District’s informally bid projects. Contractors wishing to be added to or dropped from the District’s Qualified Contractors’ List, or wishing to provide updated contact information to the District, need to submit a request using the Qualified Contractors Information Form. The form may be submitted electronically at any time.
Contractors that have registered on the District’s Qualified Contractors’ List will be notified about the District’s public construction projects valued at more than than $150,000 for the category of work being bid (if any).
Professional Services Contractors’ List
The District may choose to enter into agreements with qualified firms or individuals to provide professional services or materials as needed to accomplish the goals of the District. Examples of commonly needed services include: environmental assessment & planning, construction management, monitoring, reporting, professional engineering, environmental review or compliance, land surveying, biology, ecology, hydrology, forestry, geomorphology, agronomy, erosion controls, fuels reduction, bookkeeping or auditing.
