9:00am-12:00pm at the Humboldt Agricultural Center
for Rangeland organizations and producers
The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and Humboldt County Resource Conservation District (HCRCD) would like to invite you to a quarterly Local Working Group Meeting.
NRCS and HCRCD are nonregulatory organizations that provide technical assistance and cost-share funding for agricultural producers and landowners to address climate and resource challenges.
Local Working Groups aim to bring together local agencies and landowners to discuss natural resource concerns and solutions in our region. This Local Working Group meeting will focus on identifying the goals, resource concerns, priorities, and needs of Rangeland organizations and producers in Humboldt and Del Norte Counties to help set priorities for NRCS and HCRCD. Your input will help our organizations develop programs and prioritize and direct resources to where they are most needed in the community.
You are invited to attend at 9:00 am on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at the Humboldt Agricultural Center. If you know key representative landowners or organizations that you believe should be involved in this meeting, please share this information.
Local Working Group meetings will continue to be hosted by NRCS and HCRCD quarterly for the remainder of the year, each on a different topic. The next Local Working Group meeting will be held in December and will focus on Dairy.
Registration is strongly encouraged, please RSVP by Tuesday, Nov. 12
