Zoë is a project coordinator in the Forest Health and Fire Resilience program. She joined the HCRCD in July 2025 and is passionate about empowering local community members to become land stewards and fostering resilient forests and ecosystems. Previously she worked on a local fruit and veggie farm and was a stewardship coordinator for a local land trust. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Environmental Biology from UC Berkeley and a Master of Science in Natural Resources from Cal Poly Humboldt. In her free time, she’s an enthusiastic member of the Humboldt County Prescribed Burn Association, a spontaneous triathlete, and a lover of free-flowing rivers.
